- Activity 1 – Make your own camera obscura
A camera obscura is the simplest camera you can imagine. All you need is a small hole in a dark room. Make your own camera from a cardboard tube!

Use building blocks and plans for each level and discover different mechanical techniques. The possibilities are endless!

- Activity 3 – Build an air-powered rocket
Have you ever wanted to build an air-powered rocket? Now's your chance, and all you need is paper and tape. After construction, test your rocket on the launch pad. How high and how far do you think it will reach?

- Activity 4 – Build your own Mars lander
Using a variety of DIY materials, build a Martian lander capable of protecting an astronaut from the impact of a fall. But, as we don't have any astronauts available, we'll carry out the test with an egg.

- Activity 5 – The maths of a football
Footballs aren't round! They're made up of lots of pentagons and hexagons joined together. During this activity, try to recreate the shape of a football.

- Activity 6 – Colour science
What colour were the dinosaurs? What do planets look like? And what colours can be found under the sea? Use your creativity and add some colour to science! Younger children (under 6) can choose a colouring page from the list and use crayons, felt-tip pens and chalk.

- Activity 7 – Pepper’s ghosts
The ghost of Pepper is... just like any other ghost! Create your own 3D illusion for your smartphone. Pepper's ghost is a transparent inverted pyramid that you place on your smartphone. By playing a special video, the images spring to life in 3D!

- Activity 8 – Art with polarisation
Create a work of art with light that changes colour by turning polarisers. This DIY workshop can be done in pairs. During this workshop, you will create a work of art while learning about one of light's fascinating properties: polarisation.

- Activity 9 – Chemistry and the magic of colours
Why is your felt-tip pen blue, green or black? What's behind these colours? Learn how colours are formed and how to reveal them. Become a true chemistry detective armed with just a felt-tip pen, some filter paper and a bit of science.

- Activity 10 – Enrolment and return office
After registering at the office, you will receive a student card with your own name and photo. Collect stickers on this student card to earn your diploma from our children's university.
