FabLab ULB – Imagine and create!

Enter our FabLab and discover its digital manufacturing tools: 3D printer, laser cutter and vinyl cutter. Invent your own flying object and test it in our wind tunnels. Take part in our guided workshop to make an animated object with your own hands, or our digital fabrication workshop to imagine and create a sticker that can then be printed onto fabric. Join us to create and have fun!

  Come into our fablab and see our 3D printers, laser cutters and vinyl cutters in action. Meet specialists who will answer all your questions about these technological tools.

• Activity 2 - Construction of a moving object - Electromechanical circuit
  Assemble your own simple electrical circuit using a DC motor and a counterweight to make a bouncing object. Decorate it and take it home with you.

• Activity 3 - Design a digital personalised sticker and put it on a tote bag
  Discover digital manufacturing by creating your own sticker on a computer. Using a vinyl cutter and a heat press, your creations will be cut out and printed onto a tote bag, which you can then take home!

• Activity 4 - Build a flying object and test it in a wind tunnel
  Give free rein to your imagination and create a flying object. Once you've built your prototype, test it in a wind tunnel.
